This place is a lifesaver in Houston…but so many people just didn’t know about them! When we were approached to redesign RaiseUp Families’ website, we knew there was a beautiful story to tell here. As we read through surveys from clients, donors, volunteers, staff and board, it was clear that preventing homelessness through financial assistance, while educating parents on how to become self-sufficient was what the organization did best. This helped children stay focused on their education instead of worrying about financial stresses. We used the story throughout their website and laid it out in a visually appealing and clear way, so that both families in need and supporters could access the information they want quickly. We were grateful to the inspiring families who have shared their stories and pictures with the world to show that breaking the cycle of generational poverty is possible.
