The Riverside Project brings together organizations and passionate people to support children and families impacted by the foster care system. Their mission is to help families heal and children thrive through a collaborative community of care in Houston.

The Challenge
The Riverside Project works with churches, nonprofits, caseworkers, foster families, therapists, and more. Each audience has their own language and priorities. Internally, different team members were tailoring messaging for their own audience, but the story and vision risked getting lost as the organization grew.

The Solution
We created a full messaging guide covering:
- A unified narrative and brand voice
- Messaging tailored to their core audiences
- FAQs, positioning statements, and language guidelines for sensitive topics
Then, we facilitated two trainings: one for staff and one for board members. These trainings aligned the team and introduced shared language across all programs and partner-facing roles.
Next, we rebuilt their website with a simplified site map, clear program overviews, and intentional user journeys. We wrote the new copy, designed a fresh look, and developed a clean, professional WordPress site that’s built to grow with them.
