New Life Adoptions
New Life Adoptions is a nonprofit ministry and licensed adoption agency offering compassionate care and clear options to women navigating unplanned pregnancies.

The Challenge
New Life wanted to speak about their work in a way that honored both their values and their audience’s emotional reality. But terms like “crisis pregnancy center” and phrases like “give up a baby for adoption” can carry heavy baggage. They needed language that respected the dignity of everyone involved and helped people understand what they actually do.

The Solution
Solace Media created a full messaging guide for New Life, covering:
- Core organizational narrative and origin story
- Messaging tailored to prospective birth mothers, adoptive families, and donors
- Ethical language guidelines—what to say and what to avoid
- Taglines and value statements
- Short pitches: 2-minute, 30-second, and 10-second
- Audience personas and FAQs
We then applied this messaging to write homepage copy for their new website, and provided branding and UX feedback to their web design agency. We also created a downloadable PDF, Your Pregnancy, Your Options: A Guide for Expectant Mothers. The guide offers helpful, non-directive guidance for women exploring adoption and helps New Life reach and serve more people online.
The Results
New Life Adoptions now has a unified voice across all platforms. Their team is equipped to speak with compassion and clarity, and their new website presents a message that’s warm, trustworthy, and aligned with their mission. Most importantly, the women they serve encounter language that feels safe, respectful, and empowering.
