When David Ten Have from Good Works Collective reached out for help on his year-end campaign, he had a clear mission—but he needed a bit of guidance. After just one strategy session, he was able to secure $120,000 in matching funds!

I had the privilege of partnering with Angela Burgess from Broad Oaks Consulting to support David on his year-end campaign when he booked our Amplify Strategy Session. What really stood out about David was his ability to connect with supporters once he had a clear, strategic direction.

Here’s what he said about the experience:

“I have never thought strategically about our end-of-year campaign in more than 12 years of doing ministry. Hiring Solace Media and Broad Oaks Consulting helped me to do just that! Talking strategically with Natasha and Angela helped me identify our needs and goals and talk with confidence as I shared our vision with key supporters. After one session, I was inspired to raise a matching fund from some key past supporters to inspire further generosity through our end-of-year mailouts, emails, and social media posts. They also taught me some important etiquette tips so our organization would not feel pushy, unthankful, or overly communicative. If you need someone in your corner during your end-of-the-year campaign, give Solace and Broad Oaks a call.”

Good Works Collective aims to cultivate people in financially underserved communities to dream again through Godly community and career and leadership training. We’re thrilled they received the $120,000 matching fund, and we can’t wait to see how these funds will multiply Good Works Collective’s ability to help more people in their community discover their potential and pursue their dreams.

David’s leadership in combining faithful ministry with strategic thinking is exactly what makes transformative community work possible. Thank you, David, for letting us be part of your journey.

Although our Amplify Strategy Session is no longer available for 2024 year-end campaigns, you can still book a free consultation here to see how our Laying a Foundation For Growth Program can help you combine marketing and fundraising for sustainable nonprofit growth.
