Raise your hand if you’re creating content for your business or organization but not getting much engagement 🙋🏽♂️
If so, it may be time to take a step back.
Ask yourself: Would you engage with this content if you saw it in your inbox or on your Instagram feed?
I’ve seen a lot of organizations writing almost all their content with AI and using some slick Canva templates, but struggling to get results.
It looks good. It reads pretty good.
So what’s the problem?
Thanks to artificial intelligence, everyone is more content-flooded than ever. Every business and organization is competing for attention (and dollars).
After a while, the templates all look the same and the captions all sound the same.
You know what will always stand out?
Human connection. Human faces. Human voices.
Try this:
Sit down and write some personal reflections on your last few weeks. What’s going on in your industry? Any interesting stories from your clients? What are you proud of?
Write a couple hundred words. Give it a light edit. Then send it to your email list with a question or call to action.
Or, hold your phone in front of your face and record 30 seconds talking about your programs, services, a recent client you helped, a new offer, or an event coming up.
Then post it.
No templates.
No AI perfection.
Just you, your original thoughts, and your audience.
If you’re reading this… it works 😉
You can hire Solace to create a strategic content calendar for you. You can hire us to help edit and publish your content.
But you can’t hire us to write it all for you. Why?
Because we believe original ideas, human connection, and imperfection are more important than ever.
(And it actually performs better).
What we can do is:
- Spend a couple hours picking your brain and drawing out a years’ worth of content topics and ideas
- Choose a few platforms that will work for you and your audience
- Create a strategic calendar and set some goals to hold you accountable
- Stand by to answer your questions and provide some support as you implement your content plan and reach your engagement goals
If that sounds helpful, let’s talk.
In the meantime, try one of those exercises I mentioned. And let me know how it goes!
